In 2007 we facilitated the spay or neuter of 450 pets in the Libby and Troy area. We can help you. Since the end of 2005 we have taken in, spayed or neutered, brought up to date on meds, and adopted out 1178 animals! We are a no kill shelter. January through May 2008 we have facilitated the spay/neuter of 154 animals. Kootenai Pets for Life have made this all possible. Thank You! |
![]() Samantan needs someone with a loving heart to give her a loving home. |
Samantha Samantha is a spayed young female adult cat. She has tufts of hair in her ears like a bobcat has. She had kittens at a very young age who are larger than she is - they all were adopted. She has long black hair and needs brushed regularly. She is a very sweet girl and needs a nice home. This pet is up to date with routine
shots. Come and visit Samantha. To find out the hours we will be at the Shelter, please e-mail or call (406) 295-5735. Fill out an adoption application and you can give Samantha a home of her own. |

Our current Shelter is located in the
old Troy Animal Shelter which the City of Troy has so kindly
let us use since our start in 2005. We have received word that
we must be out of the building early 2008 so it can be torn down
and the land used for something else. It has served us well but
if you have seen the building you know that it is in very poor
shape. We are raising funds for a new building. Do you have a special skill that can be used in building the Shelter? Concrete? Framing? Roofing? Building? Painting? Can you donate money (tax deductible) to the KPFL Building Fund, Box 1454, Libby, MT 59923 or call (406)293-6407. |
| Upcoming fund raisers are raffle tickets; selling tiles for a tile wall for new Shelter when we get funds to build a new shelter; rummage sale at storage unit in Troy in August; a food booth for Nordicfest in Libby in September; and the Bow Wow Bash in October. If you can help at any of these or have ideas for raising funds, please call Carol at 406-293-3435. |

Please attend and share your ideas!
